My sweet angels!

We have been SOOOO busy this summer! I can't even begin to thank my parents enough for all the work that went into raising my brothers and me. Having three children has really opened my eyes to the sacrifices that my parents made for us, and a new found thanks for all they put up with, (at least from me!) Raising three kids is hard work, and doing it right is even harder! ( I like to 'think' I'm doing it right!) Our family has been so busy day to day with all of our daily activities! It amazes me that summer is supposed to be the break from all of the craziness! Kayden has been growing like a weed and has never been more of an entertainer! he loves to perform and be in the spotlight..... I'm not sure where he gets this from! Michael is officially potty trained and talking up a storm... We understand him most clearly when he is fighting with his brother, something about bugging Kayden makes his brain function clearly!! Lily is now 4 months and laughing, smiling, rolling over, and preparing to crawl... She is such a strong little girl.... I joke that it is because she is getting strength to dodge her brothers attacks... They LOVE HER!!!!! Mike has gotten orders to Fort Riley, Ks and so in November our family will be heading up there.... We are excited to see what God has in store for us... Kansas was not on our list, but we know He is preparing a home for us there, so we will be obedient to His call! We were saddened to hear that we were going to be leaving our friends here and venturing into the unknown, but we are confident that our Lord has a perfect plan for our lives.....In him we find PEACE! Romans 5:1-5 Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. 3Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us. Romans 5:1-5

Hope you all love the pictures!

Life has been crazy!

Well, as you all know, life with a new baby is very busy and challenging... I am sorry to all for not posting as frequently as you may like, but life is crazy... As you can tell by all the pictures, we have been having an awesome summer and have been busy with all the joys that Lily brings... The boys love her so much and can barely keep their hands to themselves... As we expected, Kayden has been such a wonderful big brother. He loves to kiss her and be involved in every aspect of her life... He decides what she wears each day, helps with diaper changes, buckles her in her carseat, loves to hold her, and is at her service with each whimper that she makes..... He is so funny, he will holler out to people that we are meeting and talking to on the phone... "Have you seen my Lily?" He is such a joy! Michael is also a big helper, only he is on the protective side.... If someone trys to come and take a look at her in the carseat, he will pull the visor over her, so that they can't see her face.... It is so funny. He is the first to hear her cry and the first to find her pacifer and help her calm... While I get ready each morning, he lays with her in my bed and makes sure she is covered and kept cozy... He calls her Lilbug...He is just precious..... I must say, I have some awesome men.....Michael is potty training and Kayden is right there encouraging him... they are so funny!! Well...anyway... I hope you all love the pictures and videos!

Just today... Life is Fun!

Okay, we had a very busy day! To start off, we headed to the strawberry patch with Kayden's school. They got to pick the strawberries right from the vine and they even had delicious homemade ice cream....yummy!! After that we came home and unpacked from our trip..... Then on to lunch, where Mike fell asleep at the table ( more like his chair....) Off to our last soccer game and pizza party and finally a photo op for Lily... Hope you love the pictures!

Six Flags Magic Mountain

On our final day in Atlanta we went to six flags... The boys were soooo excited about the roller coasters... When we finally got to the park, we headed straight to Thomas Town with featured all of the characters from Thomas the Train, including Sir Topham Hat. The kids played on the playground, met the conductor, climbed on Bertie the Bus, and flew on Harold the Helicopter... On our way out of Thomas town the kids took Thomas out for a ride. Kayden and Mike were all smiles.... After that we headed to the kids roller coasters and sat and watched the kids do EVERY SINGLE RIDE imaginable... They had a blast.... Unfortunately I forgot the camera for most of the day, but I was able to snap a few pics later on in the afternoon...
